Why People Are Placing A Red Cup Under Their Toilet Seat At Night (And Why You Should Too)

When the temperatures rise above a certain point, we like to put away our boots and sneakers and get out our sandals and flipflops. This way, we’ll be able to keep our feet nice and cool! Plus, we love showing off our cute sandals. But are your feet ready for summer? If they’re not, you should eat a banana and then use the peel for this handy trick we’ve got for you today.

Banana peels can be very handy when it comes to giving your feet a pedicure!

Healthy

First, let’s talk about the amazing health benefits bananas have. Eating two bananas a day can do some great things for you. They do contain a lot of sugar, though, so if you’re diabetic you should be careful when it comes to eating this fruit. If you’re not diabetic, though, bananas are great for you! If you eat them frequently, you’ll have more energy, your muscles will cramp less frequently, you’ll have less trouble with stomach acid and your bowel movements will improve. Eating bananas also helps against anaemia, so if you have an iron deficiency, it’s a good idea to eat bananas.

That’s all good and well, but you probably want to know why you should rub banana peels on your feet. Go to the next page to read all about it!

Pedicure

Have your feet been without sunlight the entire summer and do you want to make sure they look pretty enough for sandals again? Pedicures can be really expensive so we totally get it if you don’t want to spend your money on that. Luckily, we’ve got a handy trick for you that involves a banana and can work wonders for your feet. Bananas are very suitable to be used for pedicure purposes; the amino acids and vitamins in the fruit can help your dry feet become soft and smooth again in no time.

This is how you do it

Peel the banana, eat it and keep the peel. Clean your feet well and dry them properly. Now, take the banana peel and rub the inside of the peel over the soles of your feet. The softening and nourishing ingredients will do their thing and be absorbed by your foot soles. Then, rinse your feet with lukewarm water or put them in a little foot bath of warm water and some baking soda. Afterwards, use a nice body lotion on your feet and put on dry, clean socks.
